Lambeth市民大楼是Lambeth市政厅更新扩建工程的核心，后者建于1908年，是Brixton的二级保护建筑；项目还包括建造一栋11000平方面的BREEAM Excellent市民中心。除了市政厅和市民中心，总体规划还包含三个住宅方案，分别位于Somerset Place，Ivor House和Olive Morris House。
Lambeth Civic Quarter is centred around the refurbishment and expansion of the 1908 grade II listed Lambeth Town Hall in Brixton, and the construction of an 11,000sqm BREEAM Excellent Civic Centre. In addition to the Town Hall and Civic Centre, the masterplan also includes three residential schemes at Somerset Place, Ivor House and Olive Morris House.

The main technical difficulty we encountered was the structure of cantilevered reception hall on the north wing. To reduce the impact of columns on the ground floor and in the hall, this wing is suspended by an important steel truss system.

Other challenges involved the facing system. Due to the weight of the concrete sunshades, the contractors had to specially design a load bearing steel curtain wall that could hold the weight of the sunshades.

Kiruna is a small city in the northernmost part of Sweden. Its old city site is located in the largest iron ore area on the earth. After years of mining, the urban ground began to crack and sink, and the buildings in the city also faced the risk of collapse.

Kiruna's new town hall design is a tribute to its old city history and new city framework. This building is named Kristalen, and we can also call it "The Crystal". Its design inspiration comes from the cold and hard geometry of iron ore. The unique internal and external building volume jointly supports the dual role of the city hall as a community activity center and urban space.

The City Hall’s design seamlessly blends in with Deventer’s typical urban tradition of gardens and squares that are interconnected via alleys, lanes, pathways and gates. The building is organized around two new public squares: an open court surrounding the former mayor’s residence and a covered inner square; the building’s central hall where citizens, visitors and employees can meet one another. Adjacent to the office buildings in the Polstraat and Assenstraat two large city gardens are situated next to the neighbouring residential buildings.

The ensemble of the new town hall buildings is integrated in the green space between Eschholz Park and the University Hospital—the linking effect is reinforced by vistas and a public pathway network. By increasing the public space at Fehrenbachallee, space has been opened up for a new address, thereby creating an attractive public city square.
